Job Description

Overview

Mallette is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their La Tuque office team. As the fourth largest accounting firm in Quebec, Mallette brings together over 1,600 skilled professionals across various fields, focusing on an innovative and collaborative approach to accounting.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage reception duties
  • Follow up on administrative quality related to service offers, reports, and various documents
  • Perform quality control on the presentation of both internal and external documents
  • Prepare, format, and revise various documents and financial statements
  • Communicate with and respond to client and professional inquiries
  • Update data, finalize and digitize documents, and lock files
  • Organize document filing, open and archive files
  • Coordinate delivery of financial statements and partner agendas
  • Prepare billing projects
  • Carry out other related tasks

Required skills

  • DEC in accounting and management or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of corporate accounting (data entry, simple bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, payment tracking, tax repo
  • Proficiency in commonly used software including Acomba and Quickbooks
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
