Job Description

Overview

The ADA Associate/Specialist at Larkin Benefit Administrators is responsible for delivering comprehensive leave and ADA services to clients and their employees. This remote-first position requires maintaining excellent customer service standards while managing ADA cases and discussing employee accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer a full workload of ADA cases and associated leaves of absence for multiple clients
  • Engage in the interactive discussion process for accommodations on a case-by-case basis
  • Answer phones and respond to emails regarding leave entitlement and client policies
  • Coordinate with Claim Specialists for timely adjudication of employee claims
  • Draft and send communications to employees regarding leave and benefits
  • Participate in client meetings and company-wide events as needed

Required skills

  • Four-year college degree in a related field
  • Proficient in MS Word and typing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance and federal/state leave regulation
  • Ability to interpret complex legal and client documents
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
