Job Description

Overview

The Acute Dialysis Services Program Manager - RN at Fresenius Medical Care is responsible for ensuring quality patient care for hospitalized patients while managing staff, operations, and costs efficiently. This role oversees the tactical execution of objectives, collaborates with facility representatives, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, all while leading and developing a productive workforce.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure provision of quality patient care in accordance with company policy.
  • Supervise and coordinate inpatient staff to maintain efficient operations.
  • Monitor costs and spending, and determine ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with hospital regulations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and document training programs.
  • Act as the industry expert in problem resolution for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency surveys.
  • Maintain QAI data and presentations and prepare for external agency surveys.
  • Assist with dialysis and related services as needed.

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 3-5 years related experience in healthcare
  • 3+ years supervisory or project/program management experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulations
  • Ability to monitor and manage budgets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Acute Care Electronic System (ACES)
