Job Description:The Activities Assistant assists the Activities Director as needed, including with the development and implementation of activities programs for the residents. They assist in directing and teaching the planned activities; visit residents on a regular basis to encourage participation in activities; and assist them with various needs.Part time hours with every other weekend required.Position Requirements:Must have a high school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid Virginia driver's licenseLicensed as an Activities Professional is preferredExperience in directing individual and group activities is preferredExperience in long-term care is preferredAbility to communicate effectively with various types of peopleAbility to understand both written and verbal instructions About Heritage Hall in King George, VA:Heritage Hall King George has been part of the community for almost 20 years, but there's nothing old-fashioned about our newly renovated, award-winning facility.
