Overview

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking an Activities Assistant Driver to join their Life Engagement team. This role involves caring for the social, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of residents while planning and coordinating various activities and events in a senior living community.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of scheduled resident activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in social events and outings.
  • Act as a role model for communication and behavior management strategies.
  • Ensure that all resident activities occur according to schedule.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers.
  • Support the team in providing safe and effective resident care and activities.

Required skills

  • 1 year experience in a senior living environment or social activity leadership
  • CNA or previous experience with the elderly preferred
  • Current CPR/First Aid credentials preferred
  • Current Food Handlers credentials preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
