Description: Southeast Elevator, the region's leader in servicing and installing in-home elevators, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role within a fast-paced, growing organization. The ideal candidate must be able to shift priorities quickly, manage multiple customer accounts and transactions simultaneously, and work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the company's accounts receivable functions, including billing, payment processing, account reconciliation, collections, and maintaining accurate customer records across multiple entities and locations.This role is hybrid in Winter Park, Florida. What You'll DoMaintain and update customer accounts and records for multiple entities and locationsProcess and post customer payments for multiple entities and locations, including checks, ACHs, wires, and credit card paymentsPrepare and issue customer invoices, statements, and other billing documentationMonitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balancesReconcile customer accounts and statements, identify discrepancies, and research and resolve payment issuesApply customer payments accurately and timely to the appropriate accounts and invoicesCommunicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment status, account discrepancies, and billing questionsAssist with collections efforts and maintain appropriate documentation of customer communications and payment arrangementsAssist in preparing accounts receivable reports and other financial reports as requestedAssist with month-end and year-end accounts receivable reconciliations and reportingSupport annual audits and provide requested accounts receivable documentationProcess and maintain customer credits, refunds, and adjustments as neededPerform any other duties as requested Requirements: What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, or a similar accounting roleStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting softwareAbility to handle confidential financial information with discretionStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines Knowledge & Skills (Preferred)Minimum 2 years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience, preferably working with multiple entities and locationsSolid knowledge of accounting principles and GAAPExperience with accounting software and Concur or similar expense management systemsExperience with customer account reconciliation, payment application, billing, and collectionsStrong understanding of the accounts receivable cycle and month-end processesWillingness to adapt to and learn new software programsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independentlyDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skillsProfessional and effective customer service and communication skills BenefitsCompetitive pay Medical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Company Holidays401k with company matchProfessional development assistanceReferral and relocation programsOpportunities for advancement About Southeast ElevatorFor over 30 years, Southeast Elevator has been Florida's leading provider of custom residential elevators.
