Overview

OFFICEforce is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary position with the potential for temp-to-hire in the manufacturing industry. The role emphasizes B2B collections and cash applications, requiring a detail-oriented and organized individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable processes
  • Apply daily cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
  • Conduct business-to-business collections via phone and email
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with month-end AR reporting and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues

Required skills

  • 2+ years of recent experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, and cash applications
  • Strong understanding of AR processes and accounting principles
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills

What the company offers

  • Pay Rate: $25/hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
