"Join us in changing lives at our Bridges of America corporate office.We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging people and we want you to be a part of our team in an Accounts Payable Specialist role.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Performs all tasks related to Accounts Payable including, but not limited to, paying monthly expenses and distributing revenues.Preparation and processing of bills for paymentAudit of Vendor statementsProviding on demand checks/cash fundsDistribution of incomeCommunication of accounting activity to CPA firmMaintain cash balance recordsRelease and printing of AP checksAP/filingMaintains vehicle files and ensures all vehicles are properly insured and registeredManagement of corporate credit cardsVendor application for creditPerforms other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisorEXPERIENCE: 5 years in accountingEDUCATION: Associate degree in Accounting or related field.Education and Experience may be substituted for each other on a year-for-year basis as deemed applicable.
