Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Associate IILocation: Venice, FLSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (minimal overtime)Compensation: $20-$24/hourWork Arrangement: 100% onsite for the first 90 days. After successful onboarding, employees may be considered for a hybrid schedule of 2 remote days and 3 in-office days per week.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our collaborative finance team. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, maintaining vendor records, reconciling invoices, and assisting with the transition to Oracle Fusion ERP. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable identifying and resolving discrepancies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFiling, scanning, and general office duties as needed.Accurately and efficiently match invoices to receiving paperwork.Code invoices to the appropriate GL accounts.Perform data entry using the chart of accounts with limited supervision.Double-check variances against purchase orders and other supporting documentation.Handle minor issues and problems independently and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.Perform work under general supervision.Effectively communicate and actively participate within a goal-oriented team environment.Assist with year-end audit requests relevant to Accounts Payable.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience required.Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.Experience working with purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoice matching.Experience with ERP systems preferred; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.Technical SkillsStrong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.Ability to utilize Excel functions such as formulas, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools.Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to process changes.Experience with ERP systems and document management systems preferred.Analytical SkillsAbility to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend solutions.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.Comfortable reviewing vendor statements, reconciling accounts, and researching variances.Ability to work independently and ask questions when information appears inaccurate or incomplete.Mathematical SkillsProficiency with basic arithmetic calculations.Ability to perform unit conversions, including weight and measurement conversions such as pounds to feet, as required by business operations.Language SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.What We OfferAt MITER Brands, we invest in your health, wealth, and wellness.
