Job Description

Overview

4LEAF, Inc. is a growing multi-discipline firm in the construction industry, seeking an Accounting Technician I to support their accounting and billing functions. The role is suitable for detail-oriented professionals with a solid understanding of accounting principles and at least two years of accounting experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Process around 100 monthly invoices as Billing Coordinator
  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Obtain Project Manager approvals for invoices
  • Submit invoices to clients and respond to billing questions
  • Keep track of budget amounts and provide information to clients
  • Manage light collections for assigned accounts
  • Provide backup for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reception as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 2 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of management
