Overview

CF Industries is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee journal entries for Product Costing, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley documentation. This position involves collaboration with various departments and supervising accounting staff, contributing to the company's mission of providing clean energy sustainably.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle journal entries for Product Costing to ensure monthly financial close
  • Prepare month-end financial statement analysis and key performance reports
  • Manage property tax reports and payments
  • Maintain Sarbanes Oxley documentation
  • Oversee Natural Gas, Electricity, and Catalyst reporting
  • Track capital projects and assist in audits
  • Prepare budgets and quarterly updates
  • Coordinate with other departments
  • Supervise Accountant and Sr. Accountant staff

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a plant manufacturing environment
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Financial reporting, budgeting, and audit assistance skills
  • Strong team leadership and project management abilities
