Design and execute tax planning initiatives aimed at reducing the organizations overall tax burden while maintaining full compliance with applicable laws. Compile and review financial statements, tax provisions, and disclosures for external reporting in line with accounting and taxation standards. Lead, train, and support a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and ensuring smooth departmental operations. Oversee tax audits and inquiries from authorities, coordinating with external auditors and legal advisors when required. Keep current with evolving tax legislation, research complex tax matters, and advise on their implications for the organization. Establish and manage transfer pricing policies and documentation to meet international regulatory requirements. Identify and maximize opportunities for tax credits, deductions, and incentives to optimize tax efficiency. Evaluate and mitigate tax-related risks, ensuring alignment with the organizations risk management strategy.
