Overview

IA Recruiting is seeking an Accounting Manager for a 6-month onsite contract in Draper, Utah. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in accounting, preferably in the tech industry, and will be responsible for leading a team in various accounting activities while ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team in accounting close activities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Review key reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and global accounting policies
  • Document and maintain appropriate procedures for account fluctuations
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation

Required skills

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in big 4 firms or public companies
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
  • CPA required
  • Experience with Blackline is a plus
