Loomis is seeking an Accounting Coordinator focused on Accounts Payable in Hempstead, New York. The role involves managing vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and supporting the financial month-end close process.
Key responsibilities
Book shipment invoices into the shipping system
Analyze A/P Aging Reports
Correspond with vendors and maintain vendor relationships
Process electronic wire transfers and checks to vendors
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Assist in preparing daily deposits
Support intercompany netting reporting
Help with monthly file closings and bank reconciliation
Handle GL expense coding and invoice scanning
Assist with sustainability reporting and administrative tasks
Participate in ad hoc projects and financial month-end close
Required skills
Bachelor's Degree in accounting preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to work in a team
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
