About Our Client Our client is seeking an Accountant for a 6-month opportunity. About the Opportunity Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports. Monitor project financial performance and assist with forecasting and budgeting. Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for receivables, payables, and accruals. Provide support for accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and payments when required. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Prepare indirect tax filings and related remittances. Support the accounting team with a variety of financial and administrative duties. Perform additional accounting responsibilities as assigned. About You Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within property, construction, or project-based industries. Experience working with multiple companies or entities is considered an asset. Strong proficiency with spreadsheet software and standard office applications. Ability to learn new accounting and financial management systems quickly. Experience with property management or construction accounting software is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
