Our client, a small, personalised safari air transfer company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accountable Manager to take overall responsibility for the organisation's operational, regulatory, and safety performance. This is a key leadership position, requiring a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, safety management, and aviation operations, together with the ability to provide clear strategic direction and effective oversight. The Accountable Manager (AM) of our client is the senior executive with ultimate authority and accountability for the safe, compliant and commercially effective operation of the company's aviation activities. The role carries full responsibility to ensure that our client is adequately financed, resourced and managed in accordance with applicable local and international aviation standards and company policy. The Accountable Manager serves as the principal interface with the CAA and is responsible for ensuring the organisation maintains a robust safety management system, effective operational control, airworthiness compliance and sustainable commercial performance. The Accountable Manager must balance operational excellence, safety and regulatory compliance with prudent commercial leadership ensuring aircraft availability, cost discipline and profitability while supporting the strategic objectives of the reserves.
