Job Description

Overview

As an Account Services Retail Lead at Staples Promotional Products, you will manage and grow a portfolio of customer online eCommerce stores and physical retail boutique locations. This role requires bilingual fluency in English and French, where you will oversee operations, design online solutions, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences across Canada.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a $4-8M book of online program business, driving growth and profitability.
  • Oversight of operations for multiple retail boutique locations, including staffing and training.
  • Develop and execute account strategies in partnership with Sales.
  • Act as primary client contact for assigned programs, building strong relationships.
  • Ensure programs meet launch dates, margin targets, and budget expectations.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and merchandising strategies for online and retail.
  • Oversee project management activities to meet timelines and deliverables.
  • Forecast sales and manage expense budgets while producing reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Services and Retail associates.
  • Travel as required to support client meetings and retail locations.

Required skills

  • Bilingual fluency in English and French
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a selling, marketing, or operational role
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Proficiency with PC tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience overseeing complex projects
  • Merchandising experience in retail environments
  • Account management experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
