Overview

Staples Promotional Products is seeking an Account Manager to drive client success and business growth by connecting innovative customizable products to enterprise clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, ensuring exceptional service, and fostering relationships to maximize brand recognition.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and manage sales processes for key Enterprise Accounts
  • Serve as the main point of contact for major accounts
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and sales teams on quote requests
  • Oversee quote requests for Enterprise and Non-Enterprise Accounts
  • Monitor and maintain account profitability, sharing insights with clients
  • Develop and update client plans for contracted accounts
  • Act as a liaison between SPP and customers to address service concerns
  • Engage past and existing clients to market new products and drive sales
  • Secure new accounts through networking and prospecting
  • Host and attend team meetings to support team sales goals

Required skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to stay current with product trends and client needs
  • Minimum of 3 years sales and/or customer service experience
  • Experience in the Promotional Merchandise Industry preferred
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
