Overview

The Account Manager for Personal Lines at Marshall & Sterling Inc. will manage their own book of business while delivering outstanding service and building client relationships. This role focuses on combining relationship-building with benefits expertise to help create a secure future for clients, working closely with producers and executives in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage your own book of business and act as the go-to contact for clients.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Producers to design benefits strategies and prepare renewals.
  • Lead client meetings, including open enrollments and benefit presentations.
  • Build strong carrier relationships to secure optimal solutions for clients.
  • Create and maintain client materials such as benefits guides and presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry changes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Mentor Assistant Account Managers and provide guidance for their success.

Required skills

  • Four-year college degree in business or related field
  • Proficiency in AI tools and Microsoft Office programs
  • NYS P+C brokers license
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in risk management and client relations
