In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, and coordinating logistics to support timely and accurate product delivery.You'll partner closely with customers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and expectations are met or exceeded.What You'll DoSales & Customer ManagementDevelop new business opportunities through outbound calls and follow-up communicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customersPrepare quotes, sales orders, and supporting documentation accurately and efficientlyMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in company systemsProactively communicate with customers regarding pricing, order status, shipping updates, quality concerns, and collectionsManage order processing, including order entry, purchase orders, receiving, and packing slip verificationGenerate and review sales and inventory reports to support decision-makingIdentify and escalate product or quality concerns in accordance with company proceduresLogistics & Supply Chain CoordinationCoordinate product transportation from suppliers and warehousesMonitor shipping schedules and ensure timely deliveryManage inventory levels and maintain strong relationships with warehouse partnersTrack inbound and outbound shipments, including direct customer deliveriesWork with transportation providers to secure competitive freight pricingMaintain strong working relationships with logistics partnersWhat We're Looking ForEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required3+ years of customer service or sales experience preferredExperience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentSkills & CompetenciesStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesCustomer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilityComfortable communicating regularly by phone and emailPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePrevious sales experienceExperience with CRM or database systemsWhy You'll Love Working at VikingAs an employee-owned company, Viking offers a culture where every employee contributes to our success.
