Overview

Peckham Industries is looking for an Account Executive to manage a client portfolio within the Northeast territory, focusing on New Hampshire and Vermont. This role involves a mix of in-office tasks and travel to meet with clients to build and maintain strong relationships, particularly with municipal and government entities in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through client relationship management
  • Coordinate municipal bid pricing and develop competitive proposals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities via proactive outreach
  • Provide regular updates on client interactions, sales activities, and territory performance
  • Participate in performance evaluations and maintain documentation of sales processes

Required skills

  • Basic technical knowledge of concrete, blacktop, and aggregate product lines
  • Basic operational knowledge of customer businesses in relevant industries
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Three years of sales experience in a related industry preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
