Overview

Jobot is seeking an Account Executive for a growing local food manufacturing company that specializes in authentic New Mexican cuisine. This field-based sales position involves expanding distribution and building relationships with various foodservice partners across New Mexico and surrounding markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop new business with restaurants, distributors, and retailers
  • Build relationships with decision-makers in foodservice and hospitality
  • Conduct product tastings and brand presentations
  • Identify and pursue new distribution channels and high-volume accounts
  • Represent the brand at business visits, food shows, and community events
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and grow account penetration
  • Provide field feedback to enhance sales strategy and market expansion

Required skills

  • 2+ years of outbound sales or business development experience
  • Food, beverage, or CPG sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build B2B relationships
  • Knowledge of New Mexican cuisine and culture is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
