Job Description

Overview

The Academy Club Manager at Blue Door Academy is responsible for driving youth enrollment, building a positive culture, and fostering relationships with school partners and families. This leadership role demands an entrepreneurial spirit and accountability for the overall performance of the assigned Academy site, ensuring high standards are met and community trust is earned.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct daily site operations in alignment with Blue Door Academy standards.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for youth development.
  • Track attendance and program participation data to drive improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate site-level staff.
  • Manage site budget and submit accurate financial reports.
  • Actively recruit youth and implement strategies to grow membership.
  • Build relationships with school administrators and families.
  • Implement and enforce organizational policies and safety protocols.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, Youth Development or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in youth development or education
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Experience managing program budgets and compliance requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
  • Cultural competence and commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging
