Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking dependable and empathetic individuals for the role of Roadside Assistance Driver in Chester, Virginia. The position involves helping customers with vehicle issues such as flat tires, dead batteries, and towing, while working outside in varying weather conditions. This role includes competitive pay, paid training, and various benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services
  • Communicate effectively with members to keep them informed and safe
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology and process payments
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safety
  • Support AAA by participating in special events promoting the brand
  • Perform duties associated with towing and recovery services (if applicable)
  • Sell and install batteries (if in Mobile Battery position)

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain state/local licensing requirements
  • 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment or customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform vehicle service tasks
  • Effective communication skills in writing and verbally
  • Technical skills including use of GPS and technology for service documentation
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass physical examination as required by Department of Transportation
