Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking full-time Roadside Assistance Drivers for its Springfield, VA Fleet. The role involves helping members with vehicle challenges in various weather conditions, such as changing tires, jumpstarting batteries, and towing vehicles. The ideal candidates should have strong customer service skills and a passion for helping others.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services
  • Perform tow and recovery services as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with members to ensure their safety and keep them informed
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections
  • Secure all fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Support AAA by participating in special events

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment or customer service role
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with GPS technology
