Overview

As a 91J Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will manage the maintenance of chemical decontamination equipment and quartermaster machinery, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your training will equip you with skills in engine maintenance, repair, and other specialized equipment crucial for various operational needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Service internal combustion engine ignition, fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Perform damage assessment and repair on various equipment
  • Train to maintain laundry and bath equipment, pumps, engines, burners, filter units, and water purification units
  • Contribute to the maintenance of special purpose equipment and chemical electrical systems
