Overview

As a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic for the Army National Guard, you will ensure that wheeled vehicles are operational and ready for use. The role involves supervising and performing maintenance and recovery operations on vehicles in both field and shop settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles
  • Inspect, service, maintain, repair, test, adjust, and replace vehicle systems and components
  • Perform recovery operations and service electrical systems including wiring harness and charging systems
  • Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers, and material handling equipment systems
