Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking a 911 Dispatcher to work in their state-of-the-art 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. This full-time role involves accurately responding to alarm signals, managing alarm events, and notifying emergency services while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals using automation software according to documented procedures
  • Notify authorities and contacts when necessary
  • Log information into the automation system immediately and accurately
  • Answer multi-line telephone system calls
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork and continuous improvement
