Overview

As a Human Resources Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will provide crucial support to Soldiers regarding benefits, personnel management, and various administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining personnel records, assisting with strength management, and ensuring the health and welfare of Soldiers, among other responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist on all human resource support matters
  • Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
  • Maintain and review personnel records
  • Data entry and retrieval
  • Process recommendations and prepare evaluations
  • Arrange awards ceremonies and monitor Soldier requests
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Maintain emergency notification data
