Job Description

Overview

As a Human Resources Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will be the primary resource for Soldiers regarding benefits, policy, and sensitive issues. You will provide essential support to their careers, maintaining personnel records, processing recommendations, and overseeing readiness and welfare of Soldiers.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist on all human resource support matters
  • Organize, maintain, and review personnel records
  • Perform data entry and retrieval
  • Process recommendations and arrange awards ceremonies
  • Prepare and coordinate requests for evaluations
  • Monitor Soldier requests for ID cards, leaves of absence, and passes
  • Order and maintain office supplies and filing systems
  • Provide postal and personnel accountability support
