Overview

Sumo Staffing is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Level II Trauma Center in Michigan. The position involves working with a diverse patient population and performing a variety of anesthesia procedures under the direction of anesthesiologists.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, major vascular, OB, neuro, critical care, and trauma surgeries
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluation and preparation
  • Perform tracheal intubation and extubation
  • Place central venous catheters
  • Manage post-anesthesia care and discharge
  • Participate in on-call rotations with a 15 min response time

Required skills

  • Michigan nursing license
  • Experience in anesthesia for adults and neonates
  • Skills in trauma care and critical care anesthesia
  • Familiarity with cardiac and neurosurgery anesthesia procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends
