Overview

The 4-H Regional Program Coordinator for Region 8 in Merced, CA, will manage and oversee 4-H Community Education Specialist staff while focusing on leadership, training, budgeting, and community partnerships. This role emphasizes collaboration and program evaluation within the 4-H Youth Development Program, aiming to enhance youth education and community engagement in a variety of areas such as leadership, STEM, and healthy living.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise 4-H Community Education Specialist staff to increase program enrollment
  • Conduct regular performance management and staff meetings
  • Develop and manage budgeting and administration for program funding
  • Train and mentor new staff members
  • Conduct program evaluation and reporting to track goals
  • Build community relationships and coordinate outreach plans

Required skills
