Overview

Inergroup is hiring a 3rd Shift Production Maintenance Technician in Cartersville, GA to support solar manufacturing operations. The role involves performing maintenance, repair, and technical support for production equipment, ensuring functionality and safety while minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
  • Identify tools, parts, and materials required for tasks
  • Monitor contamination levels and ensure equipment cleanliness
  • Coordinate with production teams to manage scrap materials
  • Participate in shift pass-down meetings to communicate equipment issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts and notify leadership when restocking is needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures related to equipment maintenance

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training or experience in mechanical, electrical, construction, plumbing, or related skilled trades
  • Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organization in fast-paced environments
  • Basic understanding of solar technology and automation systems
  • Experience with cleanroom or chemical handling preferred
