Overview

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a qualified individual for a Full-Time 3rd Shift Production Forklift Operator position at their Nottingham, PA facility. This role involves safely operating a forklift, managing raw materials, and maintaining production data using their ERP system. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to ensuring high-quality food standards and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift and manage the transportation of raw materials to production lines.
  • Perform raw materials storage and placement following guidelines in D365.
  • Understand and adhere to Safe Quality Food documentation and procedures.
  • Conduct forklift inspections and maintain accurate inspection documentation.
  • Enter and track manufacturing data and inventory levels in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
  • Follow safety guidelines and attend safety training sessions.
  • Fill in for different production positions as needed.

Required skills

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality control.
  • Experience with warehouse management and safety compliance.
  • Ability to use handheld devices and ERP software (D365).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
