Job Description

Overview

As a Fabricator at Stanley Black & Decker, you'll be an essential part of the production team focusing on safety, quality, and process improvement in the fabrication department. This role involves ensuring proper operations, performing quality checks, and potentially assisting with material assembly and finishing on the 3rd shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform safety checks and clean fabrication equipment
  • Assist in continuous process improvement and verification of component configuration
  • Assemble materials prior to delivery to the customer function as required
  • Conduct metal finishing of materials as required
  • Perform process quality checks on paint line hanging equipment

Required skills

  • Experience in manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control
  • Ability to use measurement and hand tools
  • Skills in metal finishing and fabrication
  • Process improvement experience
