Job Description

Overview

Primient is seeking a 3rd Shift Instrument/Electrician for their Dayton, OH plant. This role involves the safe operation, electrical maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems used to produce high-quality food and industrial ingredients. The position offers a structured career progression with competitive pay based on skill development.

Key responsibilities

  • Fabricate, maintain, install, repair, calibrate, test, assemble, and inspect electrical installations
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspection on electrical and instrument systems
  • Work with hand and power tools common to electrical and instrumentation work
  • Assist in maintaining electrical schematics and documentation
  • Follow prescribed procedures for testing electrical systems before production release

Required skills

  • Experience with electrical systems and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of NFPA70E safety standards
  • Ability to work with electrical construction materials and equipment
  • Experience using hand and power tools for electrical work
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
