Overview

Primient is seeking a 3rd Shift Instrument/Electric Craftsperson for their Dayton, Ohio plant. This foundational manufacturing role involves electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and the safe operation of systems in producing high-quality food and industrial ingredients. The position offers competitive starting pay and opportunities for career advancement as skills develop.

Key responsibilities

  • Fabricate, maintain, install, repair, calibrate, test, and inspect electrical installations and instruments
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspection on electrical safety devices
  • Work with electrical construction materials, equipment components, and devices
  • Assist in maintaining electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and calibration records
  • Use hand and power tools for electrical and instrumentation work
  • Follow prescribed procedures for checking and testing electrical and instrument loops

Required skills

  • Electrical maintenance
  • Instrumentation and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of NFPA70E
  • Ability to work with electric drills, soldering equipment, and bending equipment
  • Experience with pneumatic and electronic components
