Overview

TruckPro LLC is seeking a 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Alma, Ontario. The role involves repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers according to customer and industry standards, ensuring the highest quality and profitability in services provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs to customer vehicles and trailers
  • Carry out basic welding functions
  • Inform customer/manager of completion times and service expenses
  • Monitor profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability
  • Submit work orders for invoicing
  • Maintain inventory and supplies
  • Prepare list of required replacement parts
  • Clean work area and maintain equipment
  • Adhere to environmental, health and safety standards

Required skills

  • 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience in heavy-duty industry
  • Registered 310T/310J license or apprenticeship
  • Possess own tools or willingness to purchase required tools
  • Ability to lift parts up to 50+ lbs
  • Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
