Pelton Shepherd Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk for their warehouse team in Streamwood, Illinois. This hands-on role is essential for maintaining the flow of materials and products within the supply chain, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from receiving to shipping.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Prepare and stage outgoing shipments for delivery
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials
  • Verify product accuracy against shipping documents
  • Maintain organization of raw materials and finished goods
  • Perform inventory counts and reconciliations
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment
  • Use warehouse management systems and handheld scanners for tracking
