Overview

Pelton Shepherd Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk for their warehouse team in Streamwood, Illinois. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations by ensuring the accurate movement of materials and products through the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Prepare and stage outgoing shipments
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials
  • Verify product accuracy against shipping documents
  • Complete freight logs and quality checks
  • Store raw materials and finished goods in proper locations
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintain a clean warehouse environment
  • Pull materials for production as needed
  • Use warehouse management systems for tracking
