Overview

The 2nd Shift QA Technician at Altor Solutions is responsible for ensuring quality assurance in manufacturing operations, primarily during the evening shift. This role includes training Inspector/Packer staff, performing inspections, managing quality issues, and collaborating with production teams to enhance quality processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Train Inspector/Packer staff and assist with refresher training
  • Conduct documented QA inspections and audit production lines
  • Verify tool calibration and manage production hold and quarantine activities
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to resolve quality problems
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Required skills

  • 2+ years of quality control experience
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality control tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
