Job Description

Overview

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is responsible for leading a team in a refrigerated food manufacturing environment. They oversee production activities, ensuring that goals are met while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates food production activities
  • Plans work schedules and assignments to meet production goals
  • Sets clear expectations and goals for team members
  • Provides training, performance monitoring, and feedback to the team
  • Prioritizes work to meet company objectives and remove barriers
  • Partners with Quality, Distribution, Safety, and other functions
  • Ensures compliance with FDA, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and other regulations
  • Prepares production reports and monitors quality systems
  • Maintains a customer-focused approach in all activities

Required skills

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Food industry experience (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus)
  • Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours over 40 hours per week
