Overview

Pelton Shepherd Industries is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Mechanic in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring operational excellence and high-quality outcomes that positively impact customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild machine components with precision
  • Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble production equipment
  • Identify potential failures before they happen and take proactive action
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation
  • Keep tools, parts, and shop areas clean, organized, and ready for use
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance efficiently
  • Support new product launches by modifying equipment and conducting test runs
  • Collaborate with other technical experts to improve equipment reliability and performance
  • Operate production equipment as needed and assist in training operators
