Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a 2nd Shift Painter to join their manufacturing team. The role involves applying wet spray and powder coat paint to fabricated metal surfaces and may require assistance in other production tasks. Key responsibilities

  • Read work orders and instructions from the manager to determine work requirements
  • Inspect metal products for errors requiring repair before paint application
  • Apply wet spray and powder coat finishes to metal and structural surfaces using brushes and spray guns
  • Prepare surfaces by applying primers and finishing coats
  • Mix and match paint colors and additives to achieve desired results
  • Maintain existing paint surfaces through tinting and matching
  • Clean equipment and work area, ensuring a safe and organized workspace
  • Operate compressors and spray equipment
  • Identify and safely handle hazardous materials, ensuring proper disposal
  • Manage production and quality documentation as required
  • Follow all company rules, policies, and regulations
