Overview

As a 2nd Shift MIG Welder at Stanley Black & Decker in Hesston, KS, you will be an integral part of the production team, responsible for assembling parts, ensuring quality through inspection, and maintaining a safe workplace. This role emphasizes a commitment to excellence and safety while contributing to some of the world’s most beloved brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble parts into a welding jig and tack them per prints or supervisor's instructions
  • Use hand tools to ensure quality product
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Participate in daily safety meetings
  • Control operation of Robot, including cleaning and inspection

Required skills

  • Technical certification in welding preferred
  • MIG welding experience and ability to pass internal welding test
  • Ability to read blueprints and layout parts to print
  • Knowledge of welding hazards and safety protocols
