This internship program offers hands-on experience in the global dairy industry. As an intern you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain insight into how genetics, management, technology, and market dynamics influence our success around the globe. This temporary full-time, hourly, non-exempt position is at our Plain City, OH facility and reports to the Vice President of Technical Initiatives and Innovation. Specific duties and responsibilities of a Global Dairy Solutions Intern include, but are not limited to,Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.Gain exposure to developing and delivering training to field teams. Understand our company's utilization and implementation of genetic strategies and tools. Contribute training expertise and knowledge to our online training platform for employees. Participate in on-farm training and learn best practices for dairy herd management. Understand and implement a dairy or beef herd monitoring system.A Global Dairy Solution Intern 's work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
