Job Description

Overview

The 1st Shift Material Handler at Metalcraft of Mayville will report to the Distribution Center manager and will engage in various activities including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and cycle counting. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a variety of tasks within a distribution center setting in Fall River, Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the distribution center.
  • Uses a forklift, hand truck, or stand up picker to convey materials.
  • Fills out daily inspection forms for forklift operation.
  • Assists with routine housekeeping tasks related to the plant's 6s plan.
  • Ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • 2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse setting
  • Basic math skills
