Job Description

Overview

Willow Tree Poultry Farm is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment across its production and retail operations in Attleboro, Massachusetts. This hands-on role is suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support needs
  • Utilize FIIX CMMS software to document and track maintenance activities
  • Assist in identifying root causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions
  • Support equipment safety programs and maintain compliance with food safety requirements
  • Maintain open communication with production, quality, and management teams
  • Provide timely updates on equipment performance and repair status
  • Follow all company safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Support maintenance needs at Willow Tree facilities and company-owned properties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and regulations
  • Ability to diagnose equipment issues and estimate repair requirements accurately
  • Any required state or federal licenses applicable to the position
  • Formal technical training in electronics, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with CMMS software systems (preferred)
  • Experience working in food manufacturing environments (preferred)
