(Please no third-party subcontractor inquiries) Job Title: Salesforce Developer Consultant Location (Locals Only): Lansing, MI (2 days onsite/hybrid required) Duration: 3 month contract Pay/Salary Range: $50-55/hr W2 Our client is seeking a Salesforce Developer. This role focuses on building and enhancing CRM solutions to support critical contact center operations and crisis response workflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience and a strong understanding of platform architecture and integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure solutions aligned with long-term technical strategies. This position requires strong ownership of development lifecycles, release processes, and system integrations. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact systems supporting essential public services. This 3 month contract role is based and will work onsite/hybrid 2 days in Lansing. What's the Job? • Develop and maintain Salesforce CRM solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. • Design and implement scalable solutions supporting contact center workflows and integrations. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with performance goals. • Manage release cycles, deployments, and CI/CD processes using SFDX and Azure DevOps. • Lead system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and authentication protocols such as OAuth. • Ensure compliance with security standards and contribute to development guidelines and best practices. What's Needed? • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong hands-on expertise. • 4+ years working with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript. • 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud. • Experience with API integrations, Single Sign-On (SSO), and data migration projects. • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator.
